The Netherlands and Belgium gave a detailed report on the situation in their respective country. They explained in detail the various traceability tracks they were investigating and the measures taken for each of them.
Member States and Commission reiterated again the commitment to take joint actions to protect public health. The approach taken over the past days was re-confirmed (see IP/02/1065): tracing, recalling, destroying and testing of potentially affected feed and food. Member States ensured that all measures were taken to protect public health.
