NOVEL FOODS - Opinion on a draft Commission Decision authorising the placing on the market of Trehalose

Opinion on a draft Commission Decision authorising the placing on the market of Trehalose as a novel food or novel food ingredient under Regulation (EC) No. 258/97 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Member States delivered a favourable opinion on the draft Decision by qualified majority (1 Member State voted against; one Member State abstained).
