Welcome to the seventh Regulating Our Future newsletter with all the latest news from the programme.

This month we’ve news about our segmentation working group, an interview with Diane Cook who chaired the last of the current sessions of the consumer panel and we have thoughts from Aaron Esler a Trading Standards Officer who has joined us on the food standards side to increase our expertise in this area.  We also held our Parliamentary Reception last month and it was a pleasure to talk about Regulating Our Future with a great number of stakeholders.

Segmentation Working Group

We’ve established a working group to support the development of the target operating model for Regulating Our Future (ROF). The group will provide ongoing insight as we develop our new approach to segmentation.

Final meeting of the Regulating Our Future Consumer Panel

The present ROF Consumer Panel met for the fourth and final time on Saturday 21 October 2017.

Food Standards and Regulating Our Future

Aaron Esler, who recently joined the Regulating Our Future team to focus on the food standards areas of the programme, gives an overview of the work that he will be doing.

FSA Parliamentary Reception

Regulating Our Future was the focal point of this year’s Food Standards Agency Parliamentary Reception on 24 October.

Animated Target Operating Model

We have just launched an animated version of our target operating model (TOM) which shows how businesses will navigate the new system of regulation envisaged under ROF.
