Nutrition claims - Reduced fat

The Regulation controlling nutrition claims requires that a claim that a 'reduced' nutrition claim 'may only be made where the reduction in content is at least 30 % compared to a similar product'.

The figures show the product name on the front panels of two packs of 'Ardennes Pate'. The first one is the standard version of the product; the second one is marked 'Reduced Fat':


On the back panel of the Reduced Fat Pate, there is a statement regarding the 'reduced fat' claim:

This is supported by the nutrition data indicated on the nutrition panels of the two products. The first is the standard version (with 26.4g of fat per 100g) and the second one is the reduced fat version (with 17.7g fat per 100g). This is actually a reduction of about 33%:
