The Solomon Islands is already a WTO member and is trading its food products within and outside the region according to the SPS/TBT Agreements.

The Solomon Islands has incorporated Codex standards into the Pure Food Act 1996 - Fisheries Regulations 2005 and in the draft Food Hygiene Regulations, currently under technical review.
