  • Fractionation of functional compounds
  • Supercritical CO2 technology


Afroditi joined the University of Reading in 2015. She lectures in food processing. As a post-doctoral researcher, she has work closely with industry and research institutes. Afroditi's expertise lies in the utilisation of microorganisms and/ or enzymes for the biotransformation of waste streams into microbial lipids, platform chemicals and biopolymers.
