The Reading University Flute Choir was founded in October 2006 consisting mainly of students of the University from freshers to postgraduates. Our first public concert was the Reading University Music Society Christmas concert on the Bulmershe campus on the 12th December 2006.

We had many engagements in the year 2006/07, including concerts and University events, such as playing at University Open Days, playing to entertain at the University graduations in Summer 2007, busking and playing at a wedding in Bath. Since then, we have continued to perform regularly at University concerts, and the flute quartet has performed at several weddings and other events and recorded a CD at Ulverston Methodist Church, Cumbria. We also have many recordings on YouTube.
