The Reading University Flute Quartet is available for hire to play at weddings, receptions, parties, corporate events, conferences and other events.

We have a wide and varied repertoire which can be suited to your occasion. It is also possible for us to arrange any specific pieces you would like played. It is possible for us to send a sample CD, or potential clients are very welcome to come to listen to a rehearsal.

This flute quartet is a bit different from a more traditional string quartet, yet fulfils the same musical niche for both ceremony music and chamber music to entertain your guests.

Here are some recent comments from clients:

'We had the pleasure of having the flute quartet at the Reading University Annual Law Dinner 2008 during our champagne reception. The quartet really helped in getting the evening off to a great start, and created a very sophisticated atmosphere. We have had many positive comments from both students and lecturers alike who enjoyed the pleasant accompaniment of the quartet. '

Emma Livesey, Reading University Law Society 2008

'This quartet of highly talented musicians are professional and warm. They gave my group of senior international educationalists a memorable concert that was original and captivated us totally. It was a feature of our international guests visit and they all took home to countries throughout
Europe a very special memory. A big thank you to you all.'

Dr Trevor Davies, Reading University Institute of Education

'Just a quick note to say thanks to you and the others for the beautiful music you played at our wedding on September 13th. The sound of the flutes matched the venue perfectly, and made the whole ceremony really special for us. Lots of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the music. Special thanks for playing The Teddy Bear's Picnic!'
