Areas of Interest:
My primary research interest is the writing, publishing, and reception of twentieth-century and contemporary poetry, and poetry in translation. I have also developed a research interest in those areas I teach, particularly modernist poetry. I continue to have a strong interest in poetry from the entire canon of literature in English. I am happy to direct post-graduate and post-doctoral research in the area of my primary research interest, and I expect to be convening an MA in Publishing, Reception, and Research for Creative Writers from autumn 2009.
