Early Modern Studies Conference
The Reading Early Modern Studies Conference is an annual event held in July. The conference continues to establish itself as the place where early modernists meet each July for stimulation, conversation and debate. This international event brings together early modern scholars from around the world working in the fields of literature, history, art history, politics, modern languages and philosophy, and papers address topics that extend across early modern Britain, Europe and the wider world.

7 - 9 July 2014
The Reading EMRC 2014 Conference will be held between 7th - 9th July. The plenary speakers will be Randall McLeod (University of Toronto) and Tony Claydon (Bangor University).
