BA Education
The BA Education offers you an excellent foundation to launch your career in the profession of teaching and education., while allowing you to continue with your subject studies in Art, English or Music to an advanced level. Students can choose from one of three specialisms:
BA Theatre Arts, Education and Deaf Studies
The BA in Theatre Arts, Education & Deaf Studies comprises three main strands:
- developing an understanding of the nature of performance;
- investigating an aspect of theatre you find particularly interesting through student-orientated practical projects;
- practical experience in delivering a range of drama work in both mainstream and special needs schools.
BA in Children's Development and Learning
Our BA in Children's Development & Learning is intended for students holding foundation degrees. It provides students with the knowledge and understanding to effectively support children, to monitor children's development and achievements and to respond flexibly to changing circumstances.

Foundation Degree in Children's Development and Learning
The Foundation Degree in Children's Development and Learning is intended for staff in childcare and education who want to study for an initial degree. It provides knowledge and understanding to effectively support children, to monitor children's development and achievements and to respond flexibly to changing circumstances.
