Current research and research projects
- 2009-12 LASAR Learning about Science and religion: a project run by the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion, Cambridge and the University of Reading.
- Collaboration with Porto University developing scientific enquiry for pupils with visual impairment
- MEG (More Effective Group work) a science-PE collaborative project looking at group work in ITT

- Fostering enterprise activity within the Institute and looking to embed teaching about enterprise within the Institute's programs
- Developing partnership with The University of the West Indies (The Champions project)
