  • I lead the Reflective Practitioner module on the Primary PGCE.
  • I teach on the Professional Studies module on the Primary PGCE.
  • I teach Child Development on the Primary PGCE, BA(Ed) and BA CDL.
  • I do School Supervision.
  • I am a member of TRB working group and the Blended Learning group.
Areas of Interest:
  • SEN and inclusive practice in schools and Early Years settings.
  • Inclusive practice in HE in FE.
  • Learning and teaching in the EYFS.
  • Mentoring for ITT and FD students.
  • Qualitative methodologies based on auto-photography.
  • Blended learning.

Current and Recent Research Projects:

EdD thesis: "The identities of and discourses around students who have been and are involved with a Foundation Degree" (working title).

Enterprise activity, External roles and consultancy:

  • I am an external examiner for the Primary PGCE at Twickenham St Marys College.
  • I have developed Partnership links with local Special Schools in order to enhance experiences in SEN for Primary PGCE trainees.
  • I have led formal training for colleagues to develop their expertise with e-portfolios, wikis, Prezi and Turnitin.
