How to get to the Bulmershe Court campus
By car
The easiest and most direct route is via the M4 motorway.
- Leave the motorway at Junction 11
- When you reach the roundabout at the top of the slip road take the B3270 (signposted to Earley & University).
- Follow this road around to the right and at the first roundabout turn left on to the A327 (Shinfield Road).
- Follow this road and go straight across two mini roundabouts.
- At the next traffic light junction, turn right onto Pepper Lane.
- Turn left at the roundabout at the end of Pepper Lane.
- Continue along this road, straight across three mini roundabouts and one traffic light junction.
- At the next mini roundabout turn right onto Woodlands Avenue.
- You will see the Bulmershe Court campus on your right hand side.

By rail to Reading station
Travelling from London Paddington
Trains from Paddington to Reading run approximately every 15-20 minutes throughout the day and the average journey time is around 30 minutes.
By bus or taxi
Once you arrive at the train station you will need to get a taxi or bus to the University campus. The bus stand and taxi rank can be found outside the station. A taxi will cost you approximately £6 and a bus journey will cost you £1.70 (you will need the exact money as the buses do not give change).
The bus that runs from the train station to the Universities Bulmerhse Court Campus is the number 13.
Please note: From Reading Station by bus to the Institute of Education at Bulmershe Court you will need to come out of Reading Station turn left pass the Rail Air buses, cross over the road, next right will be Blagrave Street where the 13 bus starts from.The new 'University Campus Link' bus also links Whiteknights campus with Bulmershe Court campus.

Reading by coach
If you are travelling to Reading by National Express Coach you will be dropped off at Calcot (next to a large Sainsbury's supermarket). In order to get to the University campus you must first take a bus to the train station and then take a second bus to the University.
Travelling from Calcot to Reading Station
The Buses that run from Calcot to the Train Station are numbers 25, 44, 101, 102 or 103. The bus fare costs £1.70 each way and you will need the exact money as the buses do not give change.
