Early Years Professionals have been leading practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage since 2007 when the Status was launched and research conducted by Oxford University has shown that Early Years Professional have made significant improvements in the quality of provision for pre-school children.

Early Years Professionals work in a wide range of settings across the children's workforce including full daycare, nursery and primary schools, playgroups, out of school settings and Children's Centres as well as home based childcare such as childminding.Paint being poured from tube
