BSc Economics and Econometrics
BSc Economics and Econometrics is an undergraduate degree courses in the Department of Economics, designed for students who have or have not studied business, economics or a related subject previously.
You will focus on coverage of economic principles and econometric techniques, adopting a relatively technical approach to most of the material. In studying BSc Economics and Econometrics you will acquire a thorough knowledge and appreciation of core economic theory and econometric methods and be expected to have a detailed understanding of how theory and method can be applied to solve practical problems.
You will develop your ability to engage with key economic theory and issues, to construct reasoned and workable suggestions and solutions, and to assess the impact of recent and ongoing changes on economic and organisational circumstances.
BSc Economics programme content
