On Friday 19 June, the Centre for Institutional Performance (CIP) is holding a workshop with the Archives to Artefacts Network (A2SN), 'Exploring Archives', 10.00-16.15, Room: Go5, Miller Building.

Registration for this event is free. If you wish to attend, please register with Aleiah Potter by 3pm this afternoon.

Please note that event on the 19 June is the second day of a two-day event. If you wish to participate in the event the previous day at the Museum of English Rural Life you will need to register for the A2N Conference directly with Keith Harcourt and a charge will be payable.

The World Cup: What economics can learn from football and vice versa

This topical workshop in the run-up to the World Cup will examined the application of economic methods to the analysis of the football industry, and considered the lessons to be learned from football that can be applied more generally in economics . It featured a distinguished line up of speakers including Ignacio Palcios-Hurta (SE), Peter Dawson (UEA), Edoardo Gallo (Cambridge), John Goddard (Bangor), Thomas Peeters (Antwerp), Ruud Koning (Groningen), and Rob Simmons (Lancaster).
