Postgraduate fees

Fees for our postgraduate masters courses in Economics (2011/12) are:

  • £4,725 (UK/EU students)
  • £11,440 / £13,645 (Overseas students band 1/ band 2)

The Dean's Scholarship

How to apply

All students holding an offer of a place on a postgraduate masters course in Economics will be automatically considered for a scholarship. There is no separate application process. Closing date for degree applications is August 2011.

Who can apply?

  • UK/EU/International postgraduate masters students demonstrating outstanding academic merit (usually a first-class honours degree)
  • Available to students applying for all full-time masters courses within the School of Economics

What is it worth?

  • 10% of the postgraduate tuition fee
  • Available (dependent on eligibility) for 1 year

Career Development Loan

UK applicants can apply for a government-sponsored Career Development Loan, provided by a participating bank, borrowing between £300 and £10,000. Interest is suspended for the duration of your studies, with the loan repaid normally following graduation.
