Academic

Our masters courses consistenly attract the best postgraduate students due to our commitment to maintaining high academic standards and strong entry requirements .

Generally you are expected to have obtained an upper second class honours degree, or the international equivalent, which includes a good grounding in Economics. See the masters course in which you are interested for any specific requirements.

Four year degree from a recognised institution with an average of 80%.

India

First Class (or 60%) in the 3-year bachelor degree.

Malaysia

Good honours degree from a recognised Maylasian Institution.

Nigeria

Good second class degree from a recognised institution.

Pakistan

Good four year bachelor of Science/Engineering from recognised institution or a good Master of Science/Engineering from a recognised institution.

Taiwan

Good bachelors from a recognised Taiwanese institution with average of 75%.

Thailand

Good bachelors degree with a GPA of 3.0 from a recognised institution.

USA

Good four year bachelor degree from a recognised institution.

English language

Students whose first language is not English are required to provide evidence of proficiency. The Centre for Applied Language Studies (CALS) offers pre-sessional courses in English for academic study and the University's Language Resource Centre (LRC) runs in-sessional English language and study support courses.
