About us
The University of Reading welcomes disabled students and has a dedicated Disability Advisory Service. This service offers advice and guidance to prospective and current students and coordinates a range of support and services to enable all students to participate fully in University life.
We can:
- advise on applying for Disabled Students Allowances;
- assist with arranging support workers such as notetakers and mentors;
- liaise with departmental staff and exams over adjustments.
This website contains information about accessible accommodation, the campus, funding for disabled students.
The Disability Advisory Service is a team staffed by three Disability Advisers, a Support Worker Coordinator and a Secretary.
