Awards & Recognition

CQSD co-ordinates a number of University award schemes to recognise and reward staff for their outstanding contributions to teaching and learning, details of each scheme can be found within this section.

University Schemes

  • University Teaching Fellowship Scheme
  • University Collaborative Awards for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching and Learning.
  • RUSU Excellence Awards (RUSU led)

The Centre also supports and mentors the University's nominees to the HEA's National Teaching Fellowship Scheme, which rewards individuals who make outstanding contributions to the student learning experience at a National level.

The Individual Award scheme previously funded by TLDF has now been discontinued. Please refer to for information about University reward schemes for individual recognition.

Staff can also be recognised at an individual level via the Lump Sum Award Scheme. Heads of School and Service consider applications from Human Resources about these awards throughout the year.
