Associate Director - Archive Services
Managing and promoting the Archive collections held by Special Collections Services.
Areas of Interest:

Guy has particular interests in copyright and legal issues, cross-domain working, photograph collections, performing arts/events data standards, and preservation management.

Research groups / Centres:

Guy Baxter has been University Archivist at University of Reading since 2008 and his responsibilities include caring for the Beckett Collection, the Archive of British Publishing and Printing and the archives of the Museum of English Rural Life - among others. Guy has worked in museum archives for over 15 years and has advised on several major research projects including Staging Beckett (AHRC), Giving Voice to the Nation (AHRC) and the East London Theatre Archive / CEDAR (JISC). He is a Trustee of the Beckett International Foundation.
