How to Find Us

The Cole Museum of Zoology is situated in the foyer of the Biological Sciences (AMS) building on the Whiteknights Campus, University of Reading.

Please enter through the microbiology wing entrance.

 

By Car

Map of campusFrom the M4 (J11) follow the signs for the University (UoR). From central Reading follow signs for the A327 to Aldershot. The main entrance is on the A327 (Shinfield Road).

Enter the campus along Queen’s Drive. You can park on the left outside Sports Park. Alternatively you can continue past the sports grounds, take the first left then left at the mini roundabout and park in any of the car parks on the left. There are disabled parking spaces in both car parks.

By Bicycle

Enter the campus along Queen’s Drive, continue past the sports grounds, take the first left then turn immediately right at the mini roundabout. The AMS building is the tall tower in front of you. There are cycle racks outside, to the right of the steps. Please enter through the microbiology wing to your right.

By Public Transport

Reading railway station is approximately 30 minutes from London Paddington. From the station, Reading bus number 9 passes the University main entrance and buses 20 and 21 stop outside Whiteknights House on campus.
