Fun and Learning for Kids

Do you know what kind of animal a "Unicorn horn" belongs to?

Have you seen the largest spider that ever lived?

Can you work out which bones and skulls belong to which mammals?

The Cole Museum of Zoology is full of excitement and learning for children of all ages. New displays and specific materials have been created to support the National Curriculum with particular focus on Key Stage 2, but with content to meet the needs of students to University degree level and beyond.

Educational tours are available on request. The Museum is very popular with local primary and secondary schools who are welcome to bring classes along to explore and ask questions.

Have a go at a fun questionnaire, handle some real bones or ask if you can put together one of our animal models. Come and spend some time with us - we are sure you will want to return.
