Volunteering at the Cole Museum

Students and people from the local community volunteer in the museum on Wednesday afternoons during term time (2-5pm). They help to conserve and clean specimens, take photographs or help prepare new displays.

If you are a Biological Sciences student interested in volunteering, please contact the curator Dr Amanda Callaghan (a.callaghan@reading.ac.uk). Volunteering in the Cole Museum can be officially recorded on your final degree certificate.

If you are not a biology student or are outside of the university, please contact Rob Davies, the volunteer co-ordinator (UMACSvolunteers@reading.ac.uk).
