  • Director of the . The Centre is jointly funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and industry to train research engineers to Engineering Doctorate qualifications in sustainable buildings and energy management.
  • Founding Director of the Indoor Environment and Energy Research Group (IEERG). The Group specializes in research projects in the areas:

- Indoor air quality
- Indoor thermal environment
- Building ventilation (air jets and room air movement)
- Computational fluid dynamics application to built environment
- Heat transfer and energy storage
- Renewable energy systems for heating and cooling of buildings
