Cycling to the University

The University encourages students and staff to cut down their environmental impact where possible and cycling to campus is one of these means. There are 1,800 cycle racks available all throughout our campus for convenience. Students are welcome to bring their cycles to the halls which also have secure cycle racks and sheds.

The Whiteknights campus offers an ideal green environment for cyclists to explore the natural beauty the campus has to offer.

There is an active programme on campus to improve the cycle facilities. Outside the library there are recent improvements with rain covers now built over the current cycle racks and a further 50 Sheffield stands have been installed to improve cycle storage for students.
