Photocopier Consumables

Konica Minolta consumables can be recycled free of charge. Used items should be placed in the Konica Minolta sack that should be near your photocopier. Email waste@reading.ac.uk when the sack needs exchanging.

Printer Cartridges

Laser and inkjet cartridges are recycled by using the large green box that is located in the Porter's Lodge or entrance foyer of every building.  Alternatively, inkjet cartridges can be recycled in the envelopes found in most entrance foyers.  You can also email waste@reading.ac.uk and get an envelope sent through in the internal post.  You are welcome to take these envelopes home with you to recycle your ink cartridges there too.

Green box? 

Every building had a green box delivered to them when this scheme first came in.  If you don't have one it is either because someone in your building removed it without permission or has moved it out of sight.  If you need a new one you can email waste@reading.ac.uk to get one delivered to a prominent location.
