Energy and Water

The University of Reading relies on energy and water supplies from a range of sources. EEST (Environment, Energy and Sustainability Team) manage the purchasing, recharging, monitoring and targeting of these utilities across our four campuses. The University is committed to reducing utility consumption, leading to a reduction in our carbon footprint across our four campuses. Although utilities are managed centrally on site, we rely heavily on staff, students, visitors and an increasing number of volunteer Environmental Champions to minimise consumption on an everyday basis.
