Utility Management

The EEST Team is responsible for the management of utilities on site, contract Meter readingnegotiations with suppliers, currently opting for a single supplier per utility model as far as practical. In addition to purchasing utilities, EEST recharge to tenanted areas of campus in order to recover some of this cost. In order to recharge accurately, and to understand utility consumption patterns, we have an increasingly detailed energy monitoring system. Regular meter readings, invoice data and half hourly profile data are fed into a central database for analysis. This data is then used to map the utility profile of the University.
