How we teach you

Our aim is to teach students to read, think and argue for themselves,
and to develop personal interests and skills.

At postgraduate level we place an emphasis on seminar teaching in small groups. Please see the individual course details for more information on each MA course.

In the most recent Subject Review, the Department was rated 'Excellent' receiving 22 points out of a maximum of 24.
