CINN Director to speak at Henley Business School 'World of Work' conference

As robots, artificial intelligence and machine learning are becoming more common in the world of work, what needs to happen in policy and practice in universities and businesses to enable us to embrace the future?

Henley Business School host their second World of Work conference on the 13th of September 2018. In it, they'll explore the dark side of the future of work - as well as shining a light on how to stay economically relevant while retaining our sanity in the modern workplace.

One of the speaker’s at this year’s conference is  the director of CINN, Professor Doug Saddy, who will be talking about the Augmented Human. In his talk, Professor Saddy will discuss how the trend for augmenting ourselves and our performance will increase, and what that will mean for work. He will ask questions such as:

  • What pressures may arise via augmentation?
  • How far will companies go to improve performance?
  • What kinds of augmentations are on the near horizon?
  • How might they change the way we view work or our expectations of the work force?

  • Steve King - Predicting the future
