As Departmental DTL, Dr Page has particular interests in chemistry education, particularly in supporting students in their transition from secondary to tertiary level. Dr Page is one of only seven University of Reading Teaching Fellows. She works closely with local secondary school and college teachers through the Chemistry Teachers Centre and coordinates the Undergraduate Ambassadors' Scheme which strives to encourage students to consider teaching as a career. She is also responsible for outreach in the School and oversees activities for hundreds of pupils and teachers each year. In her Teaching Fellowship Dr Page is developing techniques for introducing independent learning skills for chemistry undergraduates. As well as chemistry education, Dr Page's research interests include gas-phase electron diffraction studies on a variety of molecules.
