Elizabeth has particular interests in chemistry education, especially in supporting students in their transition from secondary to tertiary level. Dr Page is one of only a handful of University of Reading Teaching Fellows and is Senior Fellow of the HEA. She works closely with local secondary schools and college teachers through the Chemistry Teachers Centre and coordinates the Undergraduate Ambassadors' Scheme which strives to encourage students to consider teaching as a career. She is also responsible for outreach in the School and oversees activities for hundreds of pupils and teachers each year. In her Teaching Fellowship Dr Page is developing techniques for introducing independent learning skills for chemistry undergraduates. As well as chemistry education, Dr Page's research interests include gas-phase electron diffraction studies on a variety of molecules.
