On Sunday evenings, we come together to celebrate the Eucharist with friends, colleagues and neighbours in the Parish.

Mass is at St William of York Church, Upper Redlands Road (Click here for map) and begins at 6pm. It is held during term-time, and different priests from the Reading area take turns in presiding.

Our Mass is student-centred and we hold special celebrations once or twice a term to highlight the Feasts of the Church and to celebrate the rich diversity of our community. We have students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, as well as University staff, from many countries and different backgrounds.

The Chaplain is Sabine Schwartz. She is looking forward to meeting you. In the meantime she would be happy to make contact with you by email, so please send her an email telling her that you have arrived in Reading.

We  are part of the Ecumenical Chaplaincy team, based at the Chaplaincy on campus, behind the Library. We celebrate a lunchtime Communion Service there on Thursdays in term-time, but because of space limitations, most of our other activities take place at the Catholic Chaplaincy.
