Destinations® & Community Conference

This free conference, explored some of the many ways that online careers education is being developed across the UK and the Republic of Ireland using Destinations® – the online career learning resource from the Centre for Career Management Skills (CCMS).
The event:
Considered the impact on HE of recent legislative changes to statutory careers provision in Further Education, and the implications of evidence based research.
Surveyed how universities are forming a community of practice around the Destinations® material.
Explored practical approaches to engaging with academics and students through online and blended careers education, website renewal and e-learning innovations.
Delegates gained:
- insight into the capabilities of Destinations®
- information about how Destinations® is being used and evaluated
- inspiring ideas for using online resources to create bespoke careers education programmes that are responsive to student learning needs.
