About Destinations®
What is Destinations®?
Destinations® is a career learning website that has been specifically developed for undergraduate students in higher education, and taught postgraduates, by the Centre for Career Management Skills at the University of Reading. If you are new to the Destinations® website take a tour of the site using the screencast below. To start the demonstration click on the play icon on the bottom toolbar.
The site contains a number of 'topics', each exploring aspects of a popular career learning theme, such as 'Interviews' or 'Personality'.
Destinations® is designed to give freedom to the individual user and flexibility to programme leaders. There is no set 'route' through the content: the clear navigation allows the independent user to target particular themes or explore at will, while those who develop and teach careers education can present selected content through a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), giving limitless flexibility in course design.
