Sovereign Debt Crisis: the Legal & Economic Dimensions

This event brings together national and world leading experts on sovereign debt issues who will address the economic, financial, legal, political and social dimensions associated with the current situation of Greece and other EU countries. Some of the issues to be covered include:

  1. What are the legal and financial alternatives in a distress scenario?
  2. How to regain debt sustainability and reduce the social cost?
  3. What is the impact within the Euro-zone?
  4. )What is the role of the IMF as provider of assistance and creditor?

Speakers include eminent experts from international institutions, academia as well as market experts.
