Further Information
Kevin Thompson in the Careers, Placement and Experience Centre has special responsibility for supporting the career development of researchers at the University of Reading. Contact him for information, advice and guidance.
The University's Research Staff Development pages hold information on funding, policy and development opportunities. The pages about managing your career include case studies of Reading researchers, details of the Staff Development Review and a link to the Professional Development Record.
The career development of researchers is of national significance and the subject of government policy. Our local adoption of the Concordat in 2009 is clearly detailed.
The University of Reading's response to this is managed in part by the Centre for Staff Training and Development (CSTD), where Justin Hutchence is employed as the Research Staff Development Manager.
