CAER Projects

Understanding and managing the flow of pest regulation services between protected areas and agroecosystems (UK based).

Supervisors - Mike Garratt, Alison Bailey, Simon G. Potts

Project Description - This project investigates the flow of pest control services with the aim to improve natural pest regulation function whilst also protecting our environment. More specifically, my research examines local flower rich field margins and landscape scale land-use effects on aphids and their natural enemies in winter wheat.

This research benefits from strong links from two large scale European projects: STEP and SCALES.
