Research Interests
  • Farmland bird ecology; recent projects include work on declining farmland birds
  • Relationships between farmland bird populations and their habitats at the landscape and finer scales
  • Effects of pesticide use on wildlife
  • Foraging habitat selection
  • Autecological studies; including nightjar, bittern and most recently yellowhammer and skylark.
