Professional Activities

  • Steering Group member of the UK-wide Aculeate Conservation Group (ACG). Primary role in advising UK government on the conservation of aculeate Hymenoptera and development of UK BAP.
  • Chair of the UK Bees Wasps and Ants Recording Society.
  • Managing and compiling UK aculeate records, database and publication of UK distribution maps for aculeate hymenoptera.
  • Steering committee member for the ‘Taxonomic Working Group’ of the European Pollinator Initiative.
