Welcome

The Biological Structures Group Winter Meeting will be held on Wednesday December 15th 2010 at the University of Reading. Registration opens from 10:00 am in Black Horse House with lectures starting at 11:00 in the Palmer Building on the Whiteknights Campus.

The general focus of the meeting is 'Metal-protein interactions and their role in molecular transport and signalling.'

The aim of the conference is to highlight recent structure-function studies of proteins involved in molecular transport and signalling processes where metal ions play a crucial role.

Posters

We particularly welcome student posters. If you would like to present a poster, please submit an abstract (max 200 words) to the organiser by e-mail.

Deadline for abstract submission extended to Wednesday 8th December.

Registration

For eligibility, please provide an abstract (max 200 words) for a poster presentation and a letter of recommendation from your supervisor upon registration.

As usual, the registration fee will include one year's membership to the BCA, which can be refunded upon request after the meeting should you not wish to remain a member of this prestigious society, or if you have already paid!
