Welcoming students from Taylor's University

With the 1+2 arrangement between Taylor's University and the University of Reading, you can start your programme at Taylor's University and progress to the University of Reading after one year.

After completing the programme, you will receive an award from the University of Reading.

What will you study?

Complete a year at Taylor's University studying BSc Biomedical Sciences or BSc Biotechnology, and transfer to Year 2 of one of the following programmes at the University of Reading:

Entry requirements

To transfer to Year 2 at the University of Reading, you need:
  • an average of no less than 55% in all Year 1 modules in the Taylor's programme
  • an English language IELTS score of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each band.

To study BSc Biological Sciences and BSc Microbiology, it is compulsory to have completed the Human Physiology module

The University is within walking distance to the town centre and there are also regular buses from campus.
