This exciting Masters course provides students with a broad range of taught modules and extensive research training to prepare them for a career in biomedical research.

Taught modules include:MSc Molecular Medicine

  • Biology of Cancer
  • Stem cells and Regenerative Biology
  • Cardiovascular disease and therapeutics
  • Synthetic Biology
  • Research Techniques

In addition students will also choose a 15-week Research Project in one of the research areas in the School of Biological Sciences. Examples include cancer metastasis, endocrinology, bioinformatics, platelet biology, virology, reproductive biology, bacteriology, developmental biology and gene therapy.
