Funding

Funding for postgraduate study is available through one main source: the Arts and Humanities Research Council. In addition the University offers a few postgraduate studentships across all disciplines. The Faculties of Arts and Humanities and the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences offer a few awards on a similar basis, although candidates will also be expected to apply for external awards.

Candidates for the MFA can be nominated for an Arts and Humanities Research Board (AHRB) bursary in their second year. International students may apply to the UK funded Overseas Research Students' Award Scheme (ORS). All sources of funding are competitive.
