Entry requirements

MFA Fine Art

An honours degree or an equivalent qualification must be obtained prior to admission. The closing date for applications is 1 July for entry the following October, although later applications may be accepted.

Applications using the University form should include in addition documentation of your current work, a written statement about your practice and a programme of research you wish to pursue through the course.

Selected candidates are interviewed and places offered to those who can show a high level of ability within their practice and the capacity to engage in critical dialogue and debate.


MA History of Art & Architecture

The normal entry requirement for the MA in History of Art & Architectureis a 2:1 degree in the History of Art and Architecture, or equivalent, or in a related discipline. If you are unsure of whether you qualify for admission please contact us, and address your enquiry to Dr Sue Malvern.
