Background

Having practiced within both architecture and structural engineering, his current research investigates how computational methods can foster new ways of working between both disciplines. Doctoral work at The University of Bath led to the foundation of the computational design team at Ramboll UK, which he subsequently led before moving to academia. He currently teaches architectural technology at both undergraduate and postgraduate level at Reading, with a strong focus on digital strategies that lower embodied carbon within the context of the climate emergency.
