Visit days

We welcome all prospective students to attend one of our visit days which will give you an opportunity to visit the campus, see the department, meet current students and staff, and find out how we teach and research archaeology.

10.00-10.25: Registration & coffee

10.25: Welcome (Professor Grenville Astill, Head of Department)

10.30-11.00: Talk (Archaeology at Reading)

11.00-12.30: Morning Interviews; Talks (Student Opportunities, Accommodation & Finance) & Handling the Past

12.30-13.30: Student & Parent Lunches

13.30-14.00: Archaeology Department & Campus Tour

14.00-14.30: Talk (Silchester Roman Town & Department Fieldwork)

14.30-16.00: Afternoon Interviews; Talks (Joint Honours Degrees)
