Undergraduate courses

At Reading we teach both humanities-based and science-based archaeology.

We received an excellent rating in the 2006 Teaching Quality Review and came top of UK league table for world leading, internationally outstanding research in Archaeology (4*).

Having a break at Silchester

'A broad range of period and thematic modules are offered, which map well onto the diversity of research seen within the discipline. Given the relatively small size of the Reading department, the Archaeology programmes are remarkably varied in their range of content'

(UG external examiners' report 2010)

We welcome students from overseas and those who want to study part-time.
