University of Reading Alumni Discounts

Funding
- For 2013 entry we will make available bursaries of £1000 to overseas students who accept a place on the following Masters programmes: MA Archaeology (2 bursaries), MA Medieval Archaeology (1 bursary) and MA Research in Archaeology (1 bursary). These are full-time bursaries, but we also have the capacity to make available of bursaries of £500 for each year of study of part-time students..
- The FT Wainwright Award is an awards scheme administered by the Department of Archaeology to help students extend their archaeological experience and it supports applications from both undergraduate and Masters students.
- Applications for Arts and Humanities Research Council Studentships have now closed for students who will begin their MA studies in October 2012.
- All MA students are eligible to compete for support with the research expenses incurred in the pursuit of their dissertations.

Prizes
Students who submit outstanding dissertations may be entered for external prizes, such as the Royal Archaeological Institute Master's Dissertation Prize and the John Hurst Memorial Prize of the Medieval Settlement Research Group.
